Hemingway-rules-black-bkgrnd

The Judging is complete on the Hemingway Rules Contest, and I want to thank everyone who entered. It was difficult ranking the submissions, and I do not envy our judge (a qualified English teacher), who had to make the final call. I am in agreement with the decision.

So, the winners are:

First Place -Tumbling Visions

by Twana Biram

1st place prizes: A hardcover copy of Write Like Hemingway: Writing Lessons You Can Learn from the Master, by R. Andrew Wilson ($16.95, Adams Media). I read this book a few months ago, and the review is here.  Also, a Hemingway Rules t-shirt, mouse pad, bumper sticker and oval sticker.

Second Place – Here’s Johnny

by Marion Clarke

2nd place prizes: A hardcover copy of Write Like Hemingway: Writing Lessons You Can Learn from the Master, by R. Andrew Wilson ($16.95, Adams Media). Also a Hemingway Rules mouse pad and oval sticker.

Third Place – Hemingway Begins Anew

by M.N. Warner

3rd place prizes: A hardcover copy of Write Like Hemingway: Writing Lessons You Can Learn from the Master, by R. Andrew Wilson ($16.95, Adams Media). Also a Hemingway Rules oval sticker.

Congratulations, all of you!  Your prizes will be in the mail to you shortly. Over the next few weeks, we will be posting the stories on Lifein64squarefeet.com, so be sure to check-in and give them a read.

For those who did not win, I will say that there were some strong entries and talented authors who participated, and I sincerely appreciate your participation in this little contest.
